- 16 oz (450 g) cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups (200 g) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup (100 g) mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup (150 g) cooked bacon-style strips (beef or turkey), chopped
- 2–3 jalapeños, seeded and finely diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (60 g) crushed crackers or breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons chopped chives or green onions
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Add cheddar and mozzarella cheeses and stir well.
- Mix in bacon-style strips, jalapeños, and seasonings.
- Chill mixture for 30–45 minutes.
- Roll into small balls and coat with crushed crackers.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
- Adjust jalapeños for preferred spice level.
- Best served slightly chilled, not ice-cold.
- Do not freeze, as texture may change.
