A rich, gooey pizza-inspired dip layered with creamy cheese, savory sauce, and classic toppings, perfect for sharing.


Ingredients

  • Cream cheese: 225 g / 8 oz, softened
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese: 2 cups / about 200 g
  • Shredded cheddar cheese: 1 cup / about 100 g
  • Pizza sauce or marinara sauce: 1 ½ cups / 360 ml
  • Sliced mushrooms: 1 cup / about 70 g
  • Sliced black olives: ½ cup / about 75 g
  • Diced bell peppers: ½ cup / about 75 g
  • Dried oregano: 1 teaspoon
  • Dried basil: 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder: ½ teaspoon
  • Red pepper flakes (optional): ¼ teaspoon
  • Olive oil: 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C / 375°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with half of the mozzarella and half of the cheddar until smooth.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly into an oven-safe baking dish.
  4. Spoon the pizza sauce evenly over the cheese base.
  5. Top with mushrooms, olives, and bell peppers, then sprinkle with oregano, basil, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Finish with the remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until bubbly and lightly golden.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with toasted bread, crackers, or fresh vegetables. This dip can be assembled ahead of time and baked just before serving for convenience.
