A rich, gooey pizza-inspired dip layered with creamy cheese, savory sauce, and classic toppings, perfect for sharing.
Ingredients
- Cream cheese: 225 g / 8 oz, softened
- Shredded mozzarella cheese: 2 cups / about 200 g
- Shredded cheddar cheese: 1 cup / about 100 g
- Pizza sauce or marinara sauce: 1 ½ cups / 360 ml
- Sliced mushrooms: 1 cup / about 70 g
- Sliced black olives: ½ cup / about 75 g
- Diced bell peppers: ½ cup / about 75 g
- Dried oregano: 1 teaspoon
- Dried basil: 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder: ½ teaspoon
- Red pepper flakes (optional): ¼ teaspoon
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 190°C / 375°F.
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with half of the mozzarella and half of the cheddar until smooth.
- Spread the mixture evenly into an oven-safe baking dish.
- Spoon the pizza sauce evenly over the cheese base.
- Top with mushrooms, olives, and bell peppers, then sprinkle with oregano, basil, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.
- Finish with the remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until bubbly and lightly golden.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve with toasted bread, crackers, or fresh vegetables. This dip can be assembled ahead of time and baked just before serving for convenience.
