A creamy, flavorful chicken salad served in soft slider buns, perfect for meal prep, gatherings, or quick lunches.
Ingredients
3 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup plain yogurt
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
1/3 cup red grapes, halved
1/4 cup almonds or walnuts, chopped
2 tablespoons green onions, sliced
12 slider buns
4–6 lettuce leaves
Instructions
Cook and shred or dice the chicken.
In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, yogurt, mustard, lemon juice, and seasonings.
Add chicken, celery, grapes, nuts, and green onions. Mix well.
Cover and refrigerate for 1–2 hours.
Slice slider buns and layer with lettuce and chicken salad.
Close buns and serve or store.
Notes
Store chicken salad separately for best freshness
Add nuts just before serving to maintain crunch
Use rotisserie chicken for convenience
Adjust seasoning to taste
