Ingredients

  • 3 cups water or beef broth (720 ml)

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 pound ground beef (450 g)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)

  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste (30 g)

  • 1 cup beef broth (240 ml)

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  • Cook rice with water or broth and salt; fluff and set aside.

  • Brown ground beef in olive oil; drain excess fat.

  • Add onion and garlic; cook until softened.

  • Stir in tomato paste, spices, and beef broth.

  • Simmer until thick and flavorful.

  • Serve chilli beef over rice.
