Description

A warm, creamy, and cheesy dip packed with shredded chicken and bold flavors, perfect for game day gatherings and casual parties.


Ingredients

  • Boneless, skinless chicken breast – 450 g (1 lb), cooked and shredded
  • Cream cheese – 225 g (8 oz), softened
  • Sour cream – 240 ml (1 cup)
  • Shredded cheddar cheese – 240 g (2 cups)
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese – 120 g (1 cup)
  • Diced tomatoes with green chilies – 300 g (10 oz), drained
  • Onion – 1 medium (about 150 g), finely diced
  • Garlic – 3 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil – 15 ml (1 tablespoon)
  • Ground cumin – 5 g (1 teaspoon)
  • Paprika – 5 g (1 teaspoon)
  • Salt – 5 g (1 teaspoon), or to taste
  • Black pepper – 2 g (½ teaspoon)
  • Chopped green onions – 30 g (¼ cup)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté onion until soft. Add garlic and cook briefly.
  3. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  4. Stir in shredded chicken, sautéed onion and garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Fold in cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and diced tomatoes.
  6. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm.

Notes

This dip can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving. For best results, serve it warm and keep it heated during long gatherings.
