- 16 ounces (450 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (240 g) sour cream
- 2 cups (200 g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3 to 4 fresh jalapeños, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup (60 g) crushed buttery crackers
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
Instructions
- Dice the jalapeños, removing seeds for milder heat.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
- Stir in cheddar, mozzarella, garlic, and seasonings.
- Fold in the jalapeños.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased crockpot.
- Mix crushed crackers with melted butter and sprinkle on top.
- Cook on low for 2 to 2½ hours, stirring once halfway through.
- Garnish with green onions and serve warm.

- Adjust the number of jalapeños to control spice level.
- Serve with chips, crackers, bread, or fresh vegetables.
