These buffalo chicken sliders are packed with bold, tangy flavor and layered with tender chicken, melty cheese, and soft buns for an easy, crowd-pleasing meal.
Ingredients
- Boneless, skinless chicken breasts – 1½ pounds (680 g)
- Olive oil – 1 tablespoon (15 ml)
- Salt – 1 teaspoon (6 g)
- Black pepper – ½ teaspoon (2 g)
- Garlic powder – 1 teaspoon (3 g)
- Onion powder – 1 teaspoon (3 g)
- Paprika – 1 teaspoon (2 g)
- Buffalo-style sauce – ¾ cup (180 ml)
- Unsalted butter – 4 tablespoons (56 g), melted
- Slider buns – 12 rolls (about 360 g)
- Shredded mozzarella cheese – 1½ cups (170 g)
- Ranch-style dressing – ½ cup (120 ml)
- Green onions, sliced – ¼ cup (25 g)
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook chicken until fully done.
- Shred chicken and toss with buffalo-style sauce mixed with melted butter.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place bottom halves of slider buns in a baking dish.
- Spread buffalo chicken evenly over buns.
- Drizzle ranch-style dressing and sprinkle cheese on top.
- Add top buns and bake covered for 12–15 minutes.
- Uncover and bake 3–5 minutes more until lightly toasted.
- Garnish with green onions and serve warm.
Notes
For best results, assemble sliders just before baking to keep buns soft and prevent sogginess. Adjust sauce amount to control spice level.
