- 2 pounds beef smokies sausages
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 1 packet (1 oz) au jus seasoning mix
- 8–10 mild pepper rings, sliced
- ¼ cup pepper ring brine
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Place beef smokies in a greased slow cooker.
- Add cubed butter evenly over the smokies.
- Sprinkle ranch seasoning and au jus seasoning on top.
- Add sliced pepper rings and pour in the brine.
- Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or HIGH for 1½–2 hours.
- Stir gently and serve warm.
Notes
- Adjust pepper rings to control heat level.
- Keep on warm setting for serving during parties.
- Leftovers reheat well in the slow cooker or on the stovetop.
