Ingredients

1½ pounds salmon, cubed (680 g)

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon cornstarch (8 g)

1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)

⅓ cup honey (110 g)

3 tablespoons soy sauce (45 ml)

1 tablespoon water (15 ml)

1 teaspoon cornstarch (3 g)

4 cloves garlic, minced

½ teaspoon grated ginger

1 teaspoon sesame oil (5 ml)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions

Season salmon and lightly coat with cornstarch.

Whisk all sauce ingredients until smooth.

Sear salmon in olive oil until lightly golden and just cooked.

Simmer sauce until thick and glossy.

Toss salmon in sauce and finish with sesame oil.
