Description

A tender, pan-seared steak served with a rich and creamy garlic sauce that brings bold flavor and comforting elegance to your table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 beef steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or strip), about 250 g each

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 5 cloves garlic, finely minced

  • 240 ml heavy cream

  • 60 ml beef broth

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or dried parsley

Instructions

  • Pat steaks dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear steaks for 3 to 4 minutes per side. Remove and rest.

  • Lower heat, add butter and garlic to the skillet, and sauté briefly.

  • Pour in beef broth, simmer, then add cream and herbs. Cook until slightly thickened.

  • Return steaks to the pan, spoon sauce over them, and warm briefly before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust cooking time based on steak thickness and desired doneness.

  • Let steaks rest before serving for the juiciest results.

  • Sauce can be made slightly thicker by simmering longer over low heat.
