Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 300 g dried egg noodles

  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

  • 120 ml beef broth

  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil

  • 1 medium onion, sliced

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 100 g green beans or snap peas

  • 2 green onions, sliced


Instructions

  • Marinate the beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, and black pepper for 15 minutes.

  • Cook noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.

  • Whisk together sauce ingredients in a bowl.

  • Sear beef in hot oil until browned, then remove from pan.

  • Stir-fry vegetables until just tender.

  • Add garlic and ginger, then pour in sauce and cook until thickened.

  • Return beef and noodles to the pan and toss until coated.

  • Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
