Description

A creamy, cheesy, and slightly spicy appetizer made with flaky puff pastry and a rich jalapeño filling—perfect for parties and gatherings.


Ingredients

2 sheets puff pastry (500 g), thawed

200 g cream cheese, softened

1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup (50 g) shredded mozzarella cheese

34 jalapeños, finely diced

2 green onions, chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

¼ teaspoon black pepper

1 egg

1 tablespoon milk

Directions

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).

In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, mozzarella, jalapeños, green onions, and spices.

Roll out puff pastry sheets into rectangles.

Spread filling evenly over each sheet.

Roll tightly into logs and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Slice into 1.5 cm rounds and place on a baking tray.

Mix egg and milk, then brush over pinwheels.

Bake for 1518 minutes until golden brown.
